These wrought iron gates form the entrance to the Chateau de Haltinne.
They were made by an artisan from Ciney . Purchased by Gustave Dumont , owner of the domain from 1889 to 1891, they were formerly destined for Ciergnon Castle , but King Leopold II refused them.
In 1889, Gustave Dumont also had the drawbridge - the span of which is still visible - replaced by a stone bridge leading to the tower porch.
