De Brooderij van Velthem works with grains, nuts and fruits that are specific to the season and is in close contact with local farmers and the miller to obtain the best products for all their breads and baking. The breads are baked in an authentic wood oven. Baking in a wood oven creates a sublime crust. Fire cannot be controlled single sent. As a result, the breads always look a bit different. There's life in it. Sourdough is the foundation of all breads. Its strength is determined by the water and flour that is processed in it. But also the weather: hot or cold days always cause a changing character of our sourdoughs. Working with sourdough ensures a slow baking process.
A location with LEF* is a place where working on goods or services with LEF* is central and where they are sold, exchanged, repaired, exhibited and put in the spotlight.
