Would you like to learn more about the industrial past of the Rupel region? At Brik Boom, you stroll through authentic workers' homes and get a glimpse of the craftsmanship that rolled out of the brick ovens every day. The visitor center
- housed in a former brick factory - is located right in the former workers' neighborhood of Noeveren, now a protected village view. A setting of rows of drying sheds, towering chimneys, and workers' houses. A major eye-catcher is the impressive ring kiln from the 1920s, where workers continuously baked bricks.
