This statue was made by Ursula Forster in 1992 . The work is made of polyester and depicts 2 girls and a boy playing with marbles.
Born in Saint-Vith in 1944, Ursula Förster trained in monumental sculpture, easel painting and drawing at the Academy of Liège before turning sculpting into the hobby that occupied most of her time.
Based with her studio in Seny, using bronze, stone, resin or terracotta, she prefers women as a theme of inspiration , even though other subjects (children, animals, everyday scenes, etc.) also shape medium-sized or monumental creations. The bust of Simenon is her best-known work, but she is also the author of Joueurs de billes in Huy, L'homme au banc in Durbuy, Les Macralles in Vielsalm (2000) and Lison in Waremme (2010). She is the winner of several international awards and exhibits regularly.
