Many La Hulpois people remember the “Pont Cassé” because they played there, and even because they bathed there in their youth in the (clear?) water of l'Argentine (the silver stream) .
The bridge behind the rugby field on the path connecting rue Adèle to Avenue Ernest Solvay was destroyed during the war , hence the name "Pont Cassé". The small adjacent nature reserve with its pond was of course given the same name.
It is a basin of uncertain but probably natural origin, located at a higher level than that of the Silver Brook.
