The former cinema "La Renaissance", now the Eldorado, is an imposing limestone building in Beaux-Arts style by Jules Lalière (right corner of the facade), built in 1919-1920.
This is an interesting example of the Louis XVI style, which differs from the usual neo-Louis XV buildings that characterize the Beaux-Arts style in Namur. The first floor has wide open dividing walls, surmounted by two levels of bays interrupted by pilasters with Ionic capitals in colossal order. Entablature with curved pediment pierced by an oculus under an Imperial style dome.
