The Jean Chalon Garden , created in the heart of the Louise-Marie Park , in the center of Namur, speaks to visitors about the relationship that man has had with plants since the beginning of time.
Sacred trees, alchemical plants , flowers of ideal proportions that inspire mathematicians... 300 plant species are collected in this place and each finds a place that owes nothing to chance.
In this garden, which bears the name of a famous 19th century Namur botanist , the plants also represent the cultural and philosophical symbols that span centuries and civilizations. It consists of three gardens: the esoteric garden, the garden of traditions and the sacred space.
