Replacing the "Grand Hôtel" opened in 1899 and destroyed during the First World War , the traveler hotel known as the "Château de Namur" was designed in 1930 by Jules Lalière.
Built partly on the former lunette on the left - a remnant of the Dutch-era fortifications - this imposing building of brick, sandstone and white stone has a monumental neo-Baroque decor, dominated by a medieval-inspired tower that stands out in the Namur landscape .
The Château de Namur is now a hotel and restaurant of the Ecole Hôtelière Provinciale de Namur and welcomes you all year round in a quiet and green setting.
In addition to the **** hotel and its inventive classic cuisine, the site offers a bar and terrace open in season, an exclusive Sunday brunch, several seminar rooms adapted to current needs and improved spaces for your wedding receptions, banquets and other event events.
