This cross was erected during the time of Abbot Muller (1911 - 1949), who came to encourage the faith in Sugny. The cross, which is more than 2 meters high, stands on a plinth made of French stone.
The Christ on a wooden cross is painted gold.
During processions to the Blessed Sacrament in the Domaine Marial, the faithful went to Christ where a resting place had been set up for meditation.
