“It will be a pontoon bridge with a transparent balustrade that floats on the water, in the shape of the Fibonacci spiral. This spiral appears, just like the Fibonacci sequence, everywhere in nature – for example, think of the shape of a snail shell. This makes the bridge almost organic and fluidly integrate into the landscape,” says commissioner Philtjens
