The tallest tree in Belgium is a poplar towering over the parking lot of the Kalmthout Arboretum. It measures no less than 45 meters. The witch hazels are the most well-known species of the vast collection of plants. In January and February, the Witch Hazel Festivals take place in honor of the unique winter bloom of the old and large witch hazels.
