The Hippodrome de Watermael, established in 1875, was a historic venue for horse racing and equestrian events. With its oval race track still visible today, it remained a popular leisure destination for over a century. Closed in the early 1990s, the site has since been repurposed into a natural park, focusing on biodiversity and offering a variety of recreational activities for the public.
