The "Source de la Pélerine-voie" is located along the Reickem route that the pilgrims passed on their way to Banneux or much further away.
It was designed so that the water could flow out into a stump with a scallop shell on top.
The "Promenade Reickem", formerly known as the "Pèlerine-Voie" was already used in the 15th century by pilgrims going to France, Italy and Spain . This route crosses a large part of the forests north of Spa.
