The Kwacht is part of the nature reserve belt Het Grote Netewoud. Here, a lowland peat bog meets a land dune. Nature writes wordless poetry in this place. The view over the Kwacht from the log bench on the land dune is among the most beautiful things Meerhout has to offer. The fauna and flora in this wet depression is rich. The buzzard 'meows' almost at any moment of the day as a winged guardian high above the Kwacht.
