Lightly rolling bike ride through the expansive Haspengouwse fields.
The bike ride largely follows the gently flowing Ravels, old railway embankments.
There are a few cobbled stretches totaling about 1.4 km.
The region of Hannuit is a transition area between Liège and Brabant's Haspengouw.
The villages are clustered around a church and often also a castle or a stately farmhouse.
The number of square farmyards from the Ancien Regime is much smaller than in the neighboring Liège villages.
The remnants of these farms are in many cases old farm yards.
Farm yards adjacent to the castle and/or the farmhouse of an abbey or chapter, which owns a large part of the land.
