This is the route for the second day of the triptych in favor of "Back on Track".
From September 16 to 18, 2022, 40 employees of AZ Maria Middelares and Sint-Vincentius Hospital Deinze will embark on a three-day cycling tour to support the "Back on Track" fund (www.backontrackfoundation.com) with the motto "Stronger Together".
This fund, established by Thomas Van der Plaetsen and AZ Maria Middelares, raises money to make the treatment of cancer patients more bearable by focusing on psychosocial support, rehabilitation programs, ...
The second day features a circular tour starting from Antwerp.
The route goes via Eilandje to Ekeren and Putte. After crossing the border into the Netherlands after the beautiful loop in Huijbergen, we ride through the Kalmthoutse Heide.
Via Brasschaat, we follow a stretch of the Alberkanaal just before Oelegem, ultimately finishing through Parkspoor Noord where we also started.
