Discover all benefitsThe Via Francigena, also called Camino to Rome, is an ancient route which, from Canterbury in England, crosses Belgium, France, Switzerland and Italy, ending in Rome. Sigéric, Archbishop of Canterbury, traveled this route in 990 to meet the Pope, and since then thousands of pilgrims have followed in his footsteps.
This hike represents the first stage, from Brussels to Namur, of this long pilgrimage. The route then continues towards Reims then Rome.
