In the triangle between Brussels-Mechelen-Leuven lies the Silsombos. A beautiful nature reserve that is part of 'The Green Valley', a complex of nature reserves in this otherwise densely populated area.
The Silsombos is enchanting all year round, but especially in the early summer sun, when thousands of forest orchids and meters-high giant horsetails bloom.
