The walk starts and ends at the train station of Dendermonde, where there is ample parking available.
A very varied walk along water features, through greenery, and also a section through the city center of Dendermonde.
It is a completely flat walk around the historic center of Dendermonde, mostly along the former city walls.
Along the way, there are plenty of eateries available for a drink and/or a snack.
There are also a few nice picnic spots along the route, and there are regularly benches to rest or enjoy the surroundings.
