City walk in the center of Waregem with the biggest sights (including Justice of the Peace, Gaverbeekhippodroom, Rainbow Stadium, sports hall De Treffer, Sint-Amanduskerk, Hof Casier, Zuiderboulevard, etc.)
You can start the route wherever you want, but the parking at Waregem Expo (Zuiderlaan 26) is a good starting place. There is a spacious free parking. You can also park for free at the Youth Centre (Zuiderlaan 46) or along the Ring. You can park underground for 1 hour free of charge (parking Het Pand and Zuidboulevard). Most other car parks within the Ring are subject to payment. The station car park (Boulezlaan) is also chargeable. Street parking within the R35 is paid or limited in time (blue card). This city walk is offered to you kindly and free of charge by vzw Waregemse Gordel, until 2019 the largest cycling and walking event in Waregem on the 2nd Sunday of July (www.waregemsegordel.be). Since the corona pandemic, vzw Waregemse Gordel organizes smaller events, usually accessible to all ages.
