This cycling trip of around 42 km takes you through a few beautiful pieces of nature by the water. Along the wide Scheldt, you get great views towards Temse on one side and towards Hemiksem with its impressive Saint Bernard's Abbey on the other side. The Old Scheldt - or the former course of the Scheldt - creates a more intimate atmosphere. The unique view of the water castle of Marnix van Sint-Aldegonde is certainly one of the highlights of this cycling trip. In the inland, you pass by the Dries van Opstal, the Hof te Melis, and the Tekbroek estate, each a gem that makes this trip a lovely outing.
