From Antwerp Central Station, we walk through Borgerhout, where we get to know multicultural Antwerp. Next, we walk through the beautiful Prinsen- and Rivierenhof in Deurne. A little less appealing is the (too) busy surroundings of the sports palace. Via the charming sailors' quarter, the MAS, and the Steen, we walk to the pleasant green university area and then return to the station via many narrow and sometimes surprising streets and the main square. Don't forget to pay a visit to the Sint Jacobskerk (mind the opening hours) where many future pilgrims get their first stamp for their journey to Santiago de Compostela.
