This bike ride can be done in several ways.
You can start from both the train station of Sint-Truiden and the train station of Tongeren.
Then you can cycle from Sint-Truiden to Tongeren (or vice versa) (25 km) and from there return home by train.
Alternatively, you can make the entire bike ride 50 km long back to the starting station.
It is a hilly bike ride through many fruit orchards that are in full bloom in the month of April.
Along the way, one can stop in the tavern De Klee in Kuttekoven for a drink or a bite to eat.
That is also possible at the bike café Helshoven in Helshoven.
And both in Sint-Truiden and in Tongeren, there is more than enough hospitality available close to the station to provide the necessary calories to the internal person.
