AzureThis walk aims to draw the attention of the hiker to the Durme landscape but also how this landscape is viewed through the eyes of an artist, namely André Bogaert (1920 - 1986). Characteristic of part of his oeuvre are the Durme landscapes, but in the way in which the artist experienced and absorbed the Durmeboorden. Given the fame of the painter, both at home and abroad, we cannot remember hikers to enjoy with us. One could say that he is the lyricist who sings about the beautiful landscape through the brush. The paintings on the route come from private collections and were all renewed in June 2022.
