The Sint-Wivina walk (not to be confused with the Wivina walk) is the sign of the Sint-Wivina abbey that was founded in the 12th century near the current Hendrik Placestraat and Kloosterstraat in Groot-Bijgaarden. The abbey is also known as the Abbey of Groot-Bijgaarden. She is linked to Saint Wivina. In the 12th century, Saint Wivina retired to a spring in the forest west of Brussels, and then you are here in this area.

It is a walk full of variations. You walk through nature as well as through residential areas. And of course you will pass the Wivina Abbey and the Wivina Chapel.

This walk partly overlaps with the signposted Wivina Walk and the Wolfsputtenwandling.

Through this walk you will discover the surroundings of this abbey and beautiful corners of Groot-Bijgaarden.
