Langdorp - Postel - Langdorp (2)

Ride to Postel. A second version.

Here I follow in Postel the junctions 77, 12, 74.

This is a paved path through the woods and then you bike over the dike (not for speed demons).

This ride is 100% paved, completely flat, and suitable for biking with a group.

At the height of Reivennen, you come from the French Lane onto the Retiebaan.

If I bike alone or with a few friends, I stay on the left bike path there because you have to turn left after 200 m.

Be careful of oncoming traffic.

Along the Gravenstraat (just before Dessel), you follow the bike path on the left side of the road.

At the Kastelsedijk, you must go "left around the roundabout," so watch out there!

The Kasteelstraat to Postel and the road from Postel to the Bocholt-Herentals canal are not really bike-friendly.

Kasteelstraat has no bike path and cars are allowed to go 70 km/h. The road from Postel does have a bike path, but in my opinion, it’s not really safe.

That’s why this alternative.

Around and at the abbey, there is the possibility to eat or drink something.
