Fika bike route - Ypres and The Palingbeek

This beautiful cycling route starts and ends at Fika Stuga. The route takes you via Dikkebusvijver all the way to Ypres, where you'll ride past all the city's major sights. If you wish to eat or drink something, this is the place to be. Our recommendations in Ypres, Dépot, Milano, Découverte, and De Fonderie, are all along the route. After Ypres, the path leads towards De Palingbeek and the Ypres Gasthuis forests. At the large parking lot of De Palingbeek, you'll find the restaurant of the same name where you can enjoy a snack and a drink. A little further at Hill 60 is the last opportunity for a stop, at the restaurant-tea room of the same name. After Palingbeek, you ride back towards Heuvelland and pass Bayernwald. If you wish to visit this site, it's best to arrange your access in advance through the Heuvelland Tourist Office. You arrive via Kemmel, where you can always stop at a local terrace.
