This route takes you along some of the well-trodden paths of the village of Kanegem. Along the grass-covered Tieltsevoetweg (locally known as 'Het Wegeltje'), you arrive at Axpoelmolenstraat and follow the Oude Gentweg (where you have a nice view of the lower-lying village center) until just in Aarsele. You return via the Oosthoek, until you are back in the center and pass the Sint-Baafskerk (also known as the Cathedral of the land, because it is so large for such a small village).
