With this walk, you explore the corners of Bouckenborghpark, which is known for its stately beech avenues. In the center of Merksem, you walk through a network of parks (Green Heart). The area next to the E19 is transformed into Groenendaalpark where you can sport, play, relax or picnic. Finally, in the vicinity of the fort, you can enjoy a landscape of allotment gardens. And all of this while you only have to cross the busy Bredabaan twice briefly. Merksem is greener and more attractive than you thought!
