Start at the two headframes of the Eisden mine. Just after the start, we walk along the flank of the 'long terhil', which we will climb later in the hike. After 1.5 km, we arrive at a large body of water. We follow this for a few kilometers. When we have covered a total of 2 km, there is a beautiful panorama with terhil 'the twin' to admire. This is also the first terhil that we will climb. After walking 3 km, we see the 'red terhil' on the left. Once we have completely circled the water and have a total of 4.5 km, it's time to climb our first terhil 'the twin'. A few short but steep inclines take us to the top. This is the highest point of all terhills. A beautiful panorama awaits us at the top. At that moment, we have traveled 5.5 km. We will now descend for 1.5 km. We are at 7 km when we arrive at Terland beach house. This is the hotspot for a dip in the water, a delicious drink, or fun beach games! If the weather is warm, don't forget your swimwear. From the beach house, we walk about 0.5 km to the 'long terhil'. A few challenging steep inclines with hairpin bends take us to the top. At the top awaits the most beautiful panorama of the hike. It offers a stunning view over the Hoge Kempen, such as the Terhils, the large pond, Maasmechelen Village,… We descend to where our hike started. In total, it's good for 10 km.
