In Limburg, in the town of Tessenderloo, some 2 km from the abbey of Averbode, a superb nature reserve, most of which consists of Scots pine and Corsican pine, but also oaks and birches. Twice, we cross landscapes of moor, with sandy paths.

Some 95% of the walk is done on paths or paths, which are not very frequented. A brasserie-restaurant halfway through. Several picnic tables and benches on the way.
