Langdorp - Hélécine - Langdorp

Road works towards the castle of Horst. Therefore, I looked for an alternative through the fields. Narrow paths but fully paved.

A ride heading south means some climbing.

Once you start cycling in the southern part above the Demer, you enter the beautiful Hageland.

The ride to Hélécine goes along quiet roads and is 100% paved.

With over 700 meters of elevation, it's not really easy, but the trained cyclist will enjoy it here.

Past Hélécine, I cycle through the fields on beautiful concrete paths.

Be careful when the farmers are working here in the spring or autumn and it has rained a bit.

Then these paths can be quite muddy.

But now, in the middle of summer, no problem.

Cycling paths... just look for yourself which ones are rideable.

From Rillaar, you can easily return to Aarschot and then to Langdorp.

I supplemented this ride with a little loop around Testelt.
