Demerbroeken in the Démer valley - Val et Oli

Very nice walk between Testelt and Zichem (east of Flemish Brabant) in a plain managed by Natuurpunt. Varied landscapes: undergrowth, plains, meadows, ponds, horses in freedom, streams and the Demer River. Many benches and several picnic tables on the course. Very quiet and uncrowded, but a railway line runs through the valley, with the noise that accompanies it. Apart from the first trail (15 meters of vertical drop), the entire walk is on flat ground. Towards the end, the trails can be guessed more than they can be seen, which makes them even more enjoyable and adventurous.
In the middle of the route, you can have a coffee, an ice cream or a waffle in an establishment located in the old Zichem train station.
