AzureOne of the most popular places in the Hoge Kempen National Park is the Mechelse Heide. Primarily for walking, but from summer 2021 you can also cycle through the heath.
In order to connect this beautiful cycle route safely to the existing cycle junction network, a sustainable wooden bridge was built.
The 294 meter long bicycle bridge is a prelude to the cycle route on the Weg naar Heiwick where you can experience beautiful views over the 700 hectares of heathland.
