Straimont

In the south of the province of Luxembourg, the Semois River plays a leading role in natural beauty and tourism. The river is fed by several tributaries which all come from the woods stretched on the northern slopes of the Semois valley. The Vierre is one of its main tributaries. It has its source on the plateau of Recogne and flows in meanders to the south to flow into the Semois at Jamoigne.

During the first kilometer you walk on bitumen, followed by a slightly shorter stage of a country road with base surface. What remains is half bitumen or concrete and half a forest road of earth. From time to time you have to go up and down steeply. The last rather long part in the woods is not accessible to strollers and wheelchairs.

MARKUP
Nothingness. A few street signs and signposts are good aids to follow the route correctly.

PARKING
Try to park around the church of Straimont.
