Nature reserve Teut is divided into two parts, the routes green (4.3 km) and blue (3.7 km) leave here at parking 2 but there is a connecting strip (X) to the routes that start from parking 1, yellow (5.8 km) and purple (1.8 km). This GPS walk is a combination of blue and green. Together with Ten Haagdoorn in Houthalen, the Teut in Zonhoven forms a nature reserve of more than 1700 hectares, the largest heathland area in Central Limburg. Variety of stream valleys, fens, dunes, forests, fields and heathlands invite you to a pleasant visit. Attention! The heath is in bloom from the end of August, the most beautiful time to go hiking. Here you can put on your walking shoes or take the bike and even explore the nature reserve on horseback. Starting from parking 2 in the Donderslagseweg in Zonhoven (in intersection with the Teutseweg)
