AzureWalk in the extreme east of Flemish Brabant (on the edge of Limburg). The first part is in the countryside of Deurne (near Diest), with first a small hill to climb with some beautiful landscapes, a superb chapel. The second part is a real natural setting (nature reserve of the valley of the 3 streams - vallei van de drie beken).
Splendid landscapes, paths and paths, several footbridges in wetlands.
In the middle of summer, the walk is dry. But in rainy weather, good boots are preferable, as some paths may be muddy.
Several benches on the way.
A few stretches of road here and there, but with minimal road crossing.
Start: Langedijkstraat 33-37 in 3290 Diest (Deurne). Easy parking on the side of the road.
