This Tour will take you through the "Flat Country", the region of Flanders where Nicolas Zannekin lived, where his memory is revived each year during the extraordinary "Zannekin Feest" in Rexpoëde! You will discover his birthplace and burial site in Lampernisse, as well as the historic site of the tragic battle on August 23, 1328, at Mont Cassel, which sealed his fate and that of his troops, who nearly had a lasting impact on the History of Flanders and the Kingdom of France.
