This beautiful walk around the Ploegsteert forest is definitely worth doing. A regrettable fact is that the large Ploegsteert forest is only accessible to the public for about 1/3.
Nevertheless, we conjured up a very pleasant walk of about 9 km. The many war cemeteries that you encounter on this walk serve as a reminder of the terrible events that took place here during World War 1. Otherwise, we believe this walk is highly recommended, as it is almost completely flat except for a steep ascent in Bois de la Hutte.
