The Semois is the river par excellence in the south of the province of Luxembourg. It rises in the provincial capital of Arlon and then flows quietly west. In the vicinity of Izel, it begins to look north, at the southern edge of the great Ardennes forests. She does this through great twists and turns, one of the great characteristics of her picturesque.

NATURE OF THE ROUTE
In the first half of the walk there is just over 2 km long with a country road, which is halfway between paved and unpaved primary. For the rest, follow the paved roads. The differences in level are barely noticeable. In short, a walk of the easy kind and after a dry period you can dare to bring a light stroller.
