This route starts at the Grote Markt in Diksmuide and navigates you through some forests and interesting trees via Koekelare, Werken, Houthulst, and Klerken back to Diksmuide. Along the way, you'll encounter interesting forests and trees as well as the nature reserve de Blankaert, which are worth taking a moment to appreciate or to take a walk. The ideal guide for a day trip. With the (literally) highlight 'The Brown Kriekpear of Klerken', winner of Tree of the Year 2022!
Those who would like to visit the center of Koekelare and the Käthe Kollwitz Museum and Fransmansmuseum located there can cycle straight from junction 62 to junctions 29 and 65. After that, they can return to the original route via junction 93.
