Very nice walk, more than 90% in a forest environment. Here and there a few small stretches of road, and double crossing of a busier lane. Varied landscapes, and little elevation.
We are located in the municipality of Herselt (and the green domain of the same name). On one side of the highway is Helschot, 75 hectares of beautiful forests. On the other, a provincial reserve. Everything is included in the Merode, this huge protected reserve located at the crossroads of the provinces of Limburg, Antwerp and Flemish Brabant.
Several benches and picnic tables on the way.
