This green junction walk is a deep dive into the beauty of the trees in the Kapucijnenbos and the Park of Tervuren. At 5 km from the end, you will pass the Summer Lime Tree of Duisburg, laureate Tree of the Year 2022.
Those who find 17 km too much can easily shorten the route by cutting through at junction 40 to junction 400 and then continuing from there.
Those who would like to combine a visit to the Arbetorum with this walk can walk from junction 419 to junction 422.
At the start of the route, there is plenty of parking available. The nearby Africa Museum is also easily accessible by metro. The Park of Tervuren is one of the main gateways to the well-known Sonian Forest.
