Walk in the Bois de la Vecquée, south of Namur. Passage by the Fort de Malonne and its amazing ventilation tower. An intact bunker as well. And also some craters, vestiges of bombings, still mark this pretty wood. Magnificent properties on the course. The privatization (legal, the owner won his lawsuit against the city) of the path connecting the wood to the place called "La Gueule du Loup" makes it difficult to walk in a loop. To get there, the walk deviates towards the part of the Bois south of Avenue de la Vecquée. Beautiful wood also, BUT a merciless difference in altitude to return to the avenue.

Departure: Parking (free) accessible from the corner of Chemin de la Clairière with Avenue de la Vecquée, 5020 Namur.
