On the move with St. Martin (large loop)

12.7 km - signposted - start and end at the church of Denderbelle

In Denderbelle you can follow the beautiful signposted walk “On the Road with Saint Martin”.

Through this route, the customs and places associated with Saint Martin in the region are highlighted. The route is part of the more than 5000 km long ‘Via Sancti Martini’, a Cultural Route recognized by Europe.

You can walk the full loop of 12.7 km or choose from 2 shorter variants. One that, like the full route, starts at the church of Denderbelle or one starting at the church of Wieze. The walking direction is indicated by a combination of the Saint Martin sticker and yellow arrows.

Whether you choose the longer or shorter version of this walk, you will wander through the diverse and beautiful landscape of the Lower Dender Valley. And both at departure and arrival in Denderbelle or in Wieze, you can step into one of the various authentic cafés that the villages have to offer.
