To the most beautiful places of Mozet, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia

The aim is to see the most beautiful sights of Mozet, one of the thirty most beautiful villages in Wallonia (les plus beaux villages de la Wallonie).

We start at the small car park at the church Saint-Lambert. We climb to the plateau of Girembois to the Ferme du bois Waime, now a room for banquets and receptions and a gîte de charme .

We descend back to the Chateau de Mozet, a beautiful castle with park.

You continue uphill through the fields and you get a beautiful view of the valley of the Tronquoy. We now descend and pass Serpon-Dragent, one of the works of art of La fête de mai.

A little further on we pass the white Ferme de Basseilles to the Rau du Tronquoy. It's good to look back to see how the white farmhouse leans halfway up the hill.

Now follows a climb to Mont Sainte-Marie. We take a detour to the Capitaine Resboux monument, a secret army of maquisards in the Second World War. A little further on is the Mont-Sainte-Marie Chapel, an old bell tower and a chapel that used to form a church together.

We now descend quickly and pass the chapel Saint-Joseph, the Ferme Douxflamme and the Ferme de Royer back to the starting point.
