The walk of Moressée

We depart from the place of Heure and go to the place called "le Coret." We cross the stream of Heure and head towards the road of Moressée after crossing the national road 929. At the place Molaumont, we have a view of the hamlet of Moressée. We turn left and wade through the Ry d'Hout d'Heure. Tired walkers can reach the center of Heure in 10 minutes via a shorter route. Otherwise, the walk continues along a schist path to the right in the direction of Nettinne until the place "Le Poteau," from where we follow the asphalt road to Heure along the chapel of Notre-Dame de Walcourt and the Domaine de Pierreux. Near this road, Heure experienced an industrial activity in the 19th century due to the exploitation of lead and pyrite mines, which was definitively abandoned in 1939. If you did not take the shorter route, you would have covered approximately 7 and a half kilometers. You can extend the walk by 5 km by following the green arrows (Nettinne) from the intersection of Rue d'En Bry/rue des Minières.
