The fort that sits above the rock was a settlement in the Stone Age, later a fortified city, a Roman fort, and finally a feudal castle of the French royal family. The ideal location of La Roche offers countless opportunities for walkers, cyclists, and kayakers. This route, which follows the signage N° 6, takes you to Maboge and Borzée and then back to La Roche. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of the castle ruins and the Ourthe valley.
