The Linden Trees

From Banneux, you follow the same route as walk no. 4 (green rectangle). At the hamlet of Counachamps, you cross the stream "Ry de Mosbeux," which flows peacefully towards the Vesdre, heading towards Stinval. In the center of this picturesque village, take a path to the right and you will arrive in the hamlet of Blindef, whose core mainly consists of the Saint-Hubert Chapel (1732) and the Blindef Castle (1898). At the castle, follow a path to the right and head towards Cornémont. You will come to a place called: "Les Trois Tilleuls," linden trees planted, as the legend tells, in honor of Napoleon. You can stop there to enjoy the panorama of the countryside of Sprimont. The walk continues in the forest of Cornémont, where you can discover remnants from the past such as "the stone cross" or further on "Ferme de la Haute Folie." When you return to Louveigné, you will see respectively the "Chapelle du Trôleu" (1708) and then the park of the "Château des Fawes" (1927) with an old ice cellar.
