The walk begins at the VVV office in the center of Aywaille and goes over the bridge across the Amblève to the hamlet of Emblève (ruins of the tower of the castle of Emblève). The walk then continues through the forest to Florzé (municipality of Sprimont) and then to the Trou du Chien (playground of Tapennes). The route then leads to Warnoumont, the village of La Heid and its nature reserve La Heide des Gattes, rich in typical flora and fauna (“joubarbe” from Aywaille). Back to the starting point via the Alpage (viewpoint of La Corniche) and the municipal park. Percentage of forest: 47%.
